Position Overview:

 

  1. The Communications-PR Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and managing the TIS brand throughout the agency divisions.
  2. Responsible for planning, development and implementation of all agency marketing strategies, marketing communications, and public relation activities both external and internal.

 

 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):

  1. Communications-PR: media monitoring and analysis; manage social media initiatives
  2. Media and marketing material production; ability to plan and execute a variety of projects
  3. Develop client advisories if/as needed; ability to plan and implement campaign messages and materials
  4. Serve as an editor for social media channels and other communications content; establish consistency of message across operational divisions
  5. Marketing: Advise and recommend marketing strategies; project development and management; strategic planning of message distribution; research and other related support projects
  6. Other duties requested by the broker and/or in accordance with TIS practices which are related to the successful growth, retention and maintenance of client relationships

Qualifications and Skills:

 

1.    Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Communications or related field

2.    Minimum 3-5 years of relevant professional work experience handling public relations, communications and marketing responsibilities in a competitive business environment

3.    Computer proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and with Microsoft Office 365 software programs (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint).

4.    Word Press and website management experience a plus

5.    Independent, self-starter, energetic, highly motivated with ability to work well independently yet function as part of a team

6.    Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills; excellent customer service and organizational skills

7.    Excellent writing and research skills

8.    Photography skills

9.    Ability to prioritize and handle a variety of assignments simultaneously

10.  Strong attention to detail and ability to be accountable to multiple divisions

 

Physical and Environmental Demands:

1.    Job located in a professional office environment routinely uses standard office equipment (computers, phones, photocopiers, manuals, filing cabinets and fax machines, etc.)

2.    Standing, sitting, bending, stooping, reaching; occasional lifting/carrying (25 pounds or less)

3.    Moderate stress level

4.    Prolonged activities: sitting, use of the telephone, speaking, work on a PC/computer

5.    Ability to travel periodically if needed for meetings, conferences, etc.
